Delivery Charges:

• Melbourne Metro Delivery: We charge a flat rate of $95 for steel deliveries within the Melbourne metropolitan area.
• Free Pick-Up: Customers have the option to pick up their orders for free at our Melsteel location in Hallam, VIC.
• Outside Melbourne Metro: For deliveries outside the Melbourne metropolitan area, please contact us for a personalized quote.

Delivery Fleet:

• Melsteel boasts a diverse fleet of delivery vehicles, including semi-trailers and 8 tonne tray crane trucks, ensuring we can cater to a wide range of delivery needs.
• Our fleet is well-equipped to deliver and install structural steel for various projects.

Service Area:

• Located approximately 40 km outside of Melbourne CBD, Melsteel is ideally positioned to service customers in inner Melbourne and the surrounding suburbs.

Installation Services:

• Melsteel offers specialized on-site erection services for structural steel. Our experienced team is skilled in handling a diverse range of construction projects.
• If you require installation for your current or upcoming steel project, please get in touch with us to discuss your needs.

Ordering and Delivery Process:

• To have your steel order delivered, please place your order through our online store. During checkout, select “Delivery” as the shipping method.
• Once your order is placed, a member of our sales team will contact you to finalize delivery details and arrangements.

Approximate Delivery Times

• No Cutting or Fabrication: For orders that do not require cutting or fabrication services:

  • Customer Pick-Up: Orders are typically ready for pick-up within 1 to 2 business days, depending on stock availability.
  • Delivery: We strive to deliver your order within 2 to 3 business days from the order date.

• Require Fabrication: For orders that require fabrication, the completion time may vary depending on the complexity of the project. Our team will provide a more specific timeframe once the details of the project are finalized.
