This sophisticated Australian penthouse with beach, bay and skyline vistas is in the suburb of Port Melbourne, about three miles southwest of Melbourne’s city center. Owners Elias Jreissati, a property developer and winery owner, and his wife Colleen combined two apartments to create the double-story home. In 2002, they purchased the apartment on the 18th floor for a little more than 2 million Australian dollars (US$1.6 million at the current exchange rate) and the unit on the 19th floor for A$1.7 million (US$1.3 million). The home includes a roof garden and entertainment area. The couple’s other property, a penthouse in Melbourne’s tallest residential building, Eureka Tower, was a featured House of the Day in January and remains on the market.
